Introducing a New State to the Program!
We are excited to announce that we are adding another state to our program! This addition will bring some changes and updates to our existing system. To accommodate this, we need to add another knack database to the device list. We will be calculating distance traveled in miles as well as the time for the new devices and pushing that data to the database. Also, all devices will update their data fields to include distance traveled but we can ignore this additional data for our devices in Wisconsin. For the new devices in Iowa, we need to determine the distance traveled on the funded trails and calculate time as well. We will apply the same filters to this new data, with some slight modifications to the idle time limit and speed limit.
To ensure a smooth transition, we are currently in the process of configuring the new devices. This will give us the opportunity to test the data that is generated, allowing us to finish our projects on time. So stay tuned, as more updates are coming soon!
